My camera isn't working, what should I do?

What to do before or during a live SmartStudio session if your camera isn't working.

You may need to do some quick checks with your webcam and your computer:

  • that your webcam is still plugged in
  • any LEDs the camera has are illuminated
  • test the camera on another programme, such as your built-in webcam software or Apple's FaceTime if you're on Mac.

If everything seems to be working on your end, try logging out of your session and then rejoining. Make sure your camera is selected on the setup page and you can see a preview of your camera on the right hand side.

Note: if your internet connection speed is poor, your camera may not work in order to preserve audio quality.
